GeneStudio pricing is flexible.  We offer discounts to users of competing software, to institutions located in developing nations, and to non-commercial institutions.  To get a quote, access the Quote Request Form through the GeneStudio Help menu.  Once you have filled out this form, you will be e-mailed a quote with no obligation to purchase GeneStudio Pro.  Detailed purchase instructions will be provided on the quote.

To get your GeneStudio Pro price quote, please follow these steps:

Download and install the trial version of GeneStudio Pro.  Before you can use GeneStudio, you must obtain a trial license or proceed directly to request a quote. To get a trial license, do the following:

1. Start GeneStudio. To start GeneStudio, press the Start button on the task bar, and then select the GeneStudio shortcut in the GeneStudio group from the Programs menu.

2. Click the Request free evaluation license button on the splash screen welcome dialog. Your web browser will open the GeneStudio Trial license form.

3. Fill out and submit the form. A trial license code will be sent to you by email. Please do not use a throwaway email address such as HotMail, Yahoo, or GMail but rather use your company email address. We will not share your email address with anyone and this address may come handy when you decide to purchase GeneStudio. If you are using spam filtering software, please ensure that you can receive email from GeneStudio.com so you can receive your trial code.

4. When you receive your code, copy the code to the clipboard, then start GeneStudio and press the Enter or transfer license site key button on the splash screen welcome dialog. On the next dialog press the Paste button, then the Validate button. Your trial license will be active the next time you start GeneStudio.

5. Please note that you will not be able to install GeneStudio Pro updates until you purchase the program.

To purchase a GeneStudio license (or multiple licenses), do the following:

1. Start GeneStudio Pro from the GeneStudio group in your Start menu.  On the splash screen dialog press the Use Gene Studio button.

2. Access the Licensing menu item under the GeneStudio Help menu.

3. Press the Buy a GeneStudio license... button.  This will take you to the GeneStudio website.  A Site Code, specific to your GeneStudio installation will be automatically transmitted to the GeneStudio website.

4. Fill out the Quote request form.

5. You will be emailed a quote and a link to the payment page.  Follow the instruction on the quote form to view, print, and complete the transaction using your credit card.  You may also send us a check in any currency acceptable by U.S. banks or transfer funds to our bank account.  After the transaction is processed, you will be emailed your Site key.

   • Copy the Site key from the email.

   • Paste it into the Site key field of the Help/Licensing dialog License dialog box.

   • Press Validate to activate your license.
